From 2003-09, Anderson's Bay School has provided head or deputy head prefects at different high schools on 9 occasions.

2008 Two head prefects and two deputy head prefects at Bayfield High School are ex-pupils.

2009 ex-pupil Jeff Notman is head boy.

Alison Shanks representing New Zealand in the cycling team at the Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games (4th). Named Otago Sportswoman of the Year for 2007.

Aaron Hendry, Gold medal for top Yr 12 pupil in New Zealand for the Australasian Mathematics competition.
