On Sunday the 10th March, a large number of Anderson Bay School Students participated in the Weetbix Tryathlon. We had children enter in teams of two and as individuals. They had to swim 100m (50m if 7) 4km bike ride and complete the course by running 1.5km. An ex Anderson’s Bay Student Anna Grimaldi (Track & Field - Long Jump medal winner) was there supporting all students participating with encouragement and handing out the medals.
It is a great morning for the participants, some competing for the first time. Prizes were up for grabs and Archie Potter (Yr6) won himself a bike and helmet for taking part.
