As part of the Kowhai Team’s topic on ‘Happy, Healthy and Safe’, we had trip to Brighton Beach.
We were so lucky to get a beautiful sunny day.
We started with a picnic lunch on the domain, followed by a play on the grass and playground.
Then we went down the steps onto the beach for an explore. We had a sandcastle competition too. There were some amazing creations!
After that we all packed up our bags and walked down to the Brighton surf club beach area where we had time for another play on the beach.
The bus journey back to school was much quieter than on the way out there!
