As part of the topic 'Under the Sea' the junior classes visited the Portobello Marine Aquarium.
The children got hands on experience uncovering the secrets on the seashore by peeking under rocks and in tide pools. Investigating why marine animals live where they do. The children got to find crabs, snails, seaweed, tubeworms, barnacles and other animals that live on the rocky shore.
An excellent trip with the support of many parent helpers, who helped make the trip possible.
To end a wonderful trip the children got to visit the MacAndrew Play area to eat their lunch and have a well deserved play.
