Last week Anderson's Bay School was treated to a musical performance by some members of O-taiko, Dunedin's Japanese drumming ensemble. O-taiko is a community drumming group which is based within the Music and Performing Arts Department at the University of Otago. Taiko drumming incorporates both drumming and dance so it was fun to watch as well as listen to, even if it was quite loud! Room 6 had a workshop after the performance and really enjoyed it. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank O-taiko for coming along, we'd love to have you again!
