On Thursday the 17th of September, Anderson's Bay Kapa Haka group performed in the Polyfest at the Edgar Centre. The 110 children have been working hard all year towards this great event. The group ranges in age all the way from our youngest new entrants children, to our older year 6 pupils. The group shows a great sense of responsibility for each other and ensure everybody is looked after. They also show great pride and respect. They performed three songs, E I A I E, Nga Iwi E and a Haka. The large group had a fabulous presence on the stage and they performed with heart and soul. Kia manawanui!
