Rata Team Trip To Bayfield Inlet

The Rata team had a wonderful trip to the Bayfield inlet.  It was a little concerning to begin as the wind at school was very wild, but to our surprise it turned out to be a beautiful day down there.

We all took off in our vests to walk down to Bayfield, it was a great way to practice the road safety we have been learning about.
When we got there, we had our morning tea and then we did some activities.  There was parachute, hurdles, playing in the playground and a hunt along the shore.  We needed to find all sorts of things on the shore, some were easier than others.
After our activities we got to have lunch. fueling our bodies for the walk back up the hill.  Uphill was slightly slower than down hill, but we all made it and had a great day.
Thank you very much to all the parents and grandparents that made our trip possible.
