School Ski Weekends at Cardrona

This past weekend I had my first ski lesson.  It was at Cardrona near Wanaka.  The weather was cold but nice.  Sometimes it was icy.  I went down the Magic Carpet run and learned how to turn.  I really liked throwing snowballs afterwards at my dad.  I can’t wait to have another snowball fight again

This year I went on the school ski trip. It was my first time and I  was nervous and excited. Learning was really easy, once you know how to stop, that is because I just kept falling into a wall. After my lesson I went off and did some skiing. I fell over a few times but I kept trying and eventually  I skied down the mountain without falling over (Go ME!). Skiing was heaps of fun and I can't wait to do it next year.  So if you have wanted to give it a go, then come along on the school trip for next year.  It is great fun and there are amazing views to see.
